Here's some uselelss info... the name Amstrad came about from Alan Michael Sugar Trading.

Sir Alan also controls Amsair Executive Aviation, founded in 1993 and run by his son, Daniel Sugar. As with Amstrad, Amsair's name is taken from his initials: Alan Michael Sugar Air. Amsair is a British private aircraft charter company that provides business jet and executive jet charters.


And of course he was also jointly bought Spurs in 1991 with Terry Venables.
