Am I the only one who gets just slightly miffed when people don't say thanks after you've helped them with a question? Or am I just sad and needy? ;)

You feel a little bit ignored if not. I didnt know how to do it when i first used AB though, not until i read a post similar to this one. I tend to try and thank them on a post aswell if they have gone to a lot of trouble finding a specific answer for me. Its just basic good manners and a show of appreciation.
I have to say I agree with bohne , I couldn't really care if people thank me or not , but then I prefer the Q and A aspect of this site more than the chat side of things.
I've just had my knuckles rapped over on another category and I explained that I was hoping to get a few more answers and then I would have thanked en masse . I thought it was a bit strange to be honest. I certainly don't mean to be rude.
