ive only been to the stones once, it was a freezing cold January day. the wind was houling and it was hailing.


ive got to say i was impressed. cant say it was mystical, but i felt something inside of me that made me wonder. there was a strange sence of "how, why and when ?"


anyone else been there and had a "feeling" they cant explain ?

Yep, a feeling of sadness and frustration over all the knowledge of 'how and why' in every field that's been lost over the centuries.

it's the same round here funky! we have got castle ring round by us,and when i went there a question came into my head,it was shouting so loud i could not think of anything else!!


it shouted "FCUK ME THIS IS BORING,WHEN ARE WE GOING HOME DAD??"


i often wonder what it meant?

hows things with you ?

I have been there three times, everytime was more restrictive with yet another fence around the monument.


Now I tell people that it's not worth the money to go there.


Been to Avebury last year, though.
And there I felt what you are trying to explain, I think.
The rocks aren't as big, but they make up a huge circle and you can go right up to them.


In my eyes much nicer than Stonehenge.
