Travellers are a different issue all together , these are the people that we call travellers, they only travel as far as somewhere they can set up camp on someone else's land and stay there. They use the whole area as a toilet, they cut down large amounts of trees for to their fires, their children run around filthy stinking dirty, they con everybody they come across. When they are finally evicted from land they have taken over, the tax payer has to foot the bill for hundreds of thousands of pounds to clear up the place if they are on public land.
They are the lowest form of human life, and I say human life because most animals couldn't live the way they do.
The above is what happened very close to where I live, they took over a very large picnic area on the moors, it wasn't safe to go anywhere near it for over two years until they were evicted. The council had to remove over 40 caravans and lorries, and the large woodland that adjoined the picnic are is now so sparse, you cant even call it a woodland. Just give me an R.P.G

Grow up stylinsam, not all travellers are the same ,just as all people are not the same and quite frankly I take offence that you think 'irish gypsys' are giving gypsys a bad name, can I therefore assume that all english chavs give all english people a bad name. Personally I think not, listen to what big Mac is saying and don't be so ignorant or narrow minded.

stlyinsam when I was answering your question I was answering the first page of questions which were the only ones available to me at that time, by the time I was posted there were another 20plus answers/questions posted which I was not aware off, however my initial anger is toward you attitude to put all irish gypsys into one category, and as I stated if we all applied this kind of attitude in our lives we would judge a lot of people wrongly, that was my point,
Also part of my family are of romany decent, albeit not irish, french (gaelic) actually, so partly I do know what I am talking about within my own scope of experience.

I know, I know but I think you've put yourself right now saying that that is what they are like THERE. In your other post you agreed with yes all of them are like this. I think that was your downfall. Because obviously some on here know some nice gypsies me included. Just wouldnt like to think you'd go to another town and diss a gypsie because of the run ins you've had with them. :-) Wow what a debate, bet you'd never asked :-)
You only caused upset because if you look at the first page you didnt say just them you said all. Thats what annoyed people. Didnt annoy me though, I just like a good debate :-) dont worry yourself about it. We all know you arent like some of the ebers after some fight one here (aherm sexyrussian) :-)
