Hi, I am trying to trace my family tree and the only thing we know about my grandfather is that he had a sister who may have been born around 1930 and had the first Regina? The thing is, nobody can remember the exact name and the versions I have so far are Regina, Georgina and Gorgina. None of these names are brining anything u and I was wondering if anyone knew of any names that sound similar to those that I could also try. Many thanks, nat.

Have you tried looking on www.ancestry.co.uk on the births from around that time (perhaps 1927 to 1933) looking up just the surname? If you know which town she was born in then maybe the name will jump out at you!

Many thanks! I will try that, I know it might seem obvious to some but you spend so much time looking you can miss things that stare you straight in the face! Thanks again
Let me know how you get on natalie. Family history can be so frustrating, but it's wonderful when you finally get a 'hit' as I did tonight when I finally found my 3 x Great Grandfather on the census, and guess what, he was living 4 doors away from one of his sons! Duh!
