Just read some comments from Donald Trump to the effect that everyone in Scotland loves "Trump International Golf Links" up in Aberdeen. Is that the case? Are most people broadly supportive of his business plans in Scotland?

I may be shallow but the wig alone would put me off the guy. I have nothing against men who wish to wear wigs or who are bald. But to have as much money as him and still go for the cheap and tacky wig says much about him.

Irn Bru made in Scotland from girders.... but not the Forth Bridge .............don't think there's much Iron left - only tons of red lead paint. Be very afraid every time you take the train across it.
I would rather take my chances crossing the Forth Bridge unlike the Tay Bridge, as celebrated by Scotland's second best known poet, William M'Gonachal.
Point taken plautus. William Topaz McGonegal's poetry was as bad as the original Tay bridge construction.
His poetry was so bad it was good. Our English master (circa 1963) insisted that we read it.
What a sadistic b@st@rd!
I've said it before and I'll say it again. The man's an arse.
I live near Aberdeen. I think what he has done is great and thos is the general consencus between olleagues family and friends of mine. Really really pretty golf course, not obtrusive at all and will bring wealth of tourism to this little corner if the north east of Scotland. Bring it on i say!
FP....if you live round the Balmedie, Ellon area it's brilliant, all the house prices have taken a 15% rise since his nonsense started....makes no difference to us in the south of the Shire.

Big point is the man is a wealthy blowhard who uses his presence to spout off whatever he wants. Anyone who wants to invest that kind of money in an area should be welcomed, applauded but firmly told that he's not buying us all out. Don't like the man but can respect what he's built and what he's invested in Aberdeenshire, wish he'd now shut up and bog off back to America
He's a carnaptious numpty; a pure choob.
If AB was based in Scotland, Ed might have replaced his name with asterisks! It's a rude name to many, north of the border. As to the course bringing in tourists, Americans want to play golf at St Andrews, so they can go home and brag that they've done it. They won't want to travel north to play at some course that no-one in the US has ever heard of. (Unless they've seen the film "You've been Trumped").
A baldy American tw*t

the man's a total buffoon, a bully and a bore , but if he brings jobs to Scotland, then he's OK by me. I enjoy a good wig. I don't think anyone should get slagged off for wearing one, even if it looks like he's wearing a beaver on his head
iS ITY A WIG OR JUST A VERY BAD COMB-OVER, WHATEVER HE IS SUCH A LOUD MOUTH
ladybirder - it must be a hair transplant. :-) By the way I love your little dog in your avatar. It is really sweet.
Never trust a man with a shredded wheat on his head.
Looks more like a Weetabix to me, 2sp_.
