Nativity Play Cancelled In Fear Of "offending" Muslims

just read in the news about a primary school cancelling their nativity play in case it offends the muslim students.

Am I missing something here or this the most unbelievable thing I ever heard?? Regardless of the fact that the child may have come from another country of their parents/grandparents have come from another country - they have still come from another country and if our customs and beliefs "offend" them I know where they should go!

Am I alone here?

just read the article in the link How come these kids are allowed to stay home to celebrate eid when British parents can be fined or imprisoned for taking their kid out of school for a few days abroad, when cheap flights become available. i'm convinced if the governments and councils didn't bow down to all these foriegn groups, there wouldn't be half as much racism as there is now...
