Do British people really drink tea as much as in the movies? and do they learn the same stuff as in America? cause i was tought that like when we broke away England was evil and controlling what is it that you learned?
all yanks in the movies fat and stupid, Colinandjess? Goodness knows where you found movies like that. In the ones I see they all look like Ryan Gosling and Anne Hathaway.
Energy drinks are really bad for you, tristen, and some of your theories could cause some offence
"in WW2 we won also XD you cant deny it cause ur contry got its ass handed to it "
Yeah right - that's why we're commemorating so much about both world wars here in the UK this year.
If you are posting from your phone, please do us the courtesy of spelling properly - textspeak is very irritating.
When we are on the subject of tea - why don't actresses and actors appear to actually swallow something from a cup. They all put the cup to their mouths and that is it.
To return to the question for a moment:
Surveys have shown that Brits now drink more coffee than tea but tea still remains extremely popular. (I only drink tea at home but I more usually choose coffee elsewhere).
Brits are taught about the unjustness of our colonial system and, in particular, how the British government sought to take everything possible (by way of taxes, etc) from America but give almost nothing back in return.
However the American War of Independence forms only a very small part of our history and many school pupils probably never even hear about it.
I think they usually have root beer in the cups as it looks the right colour and it doesn't matter if it gets cold/hot. They do sip it sometimes, but not if they have to speak the next line
