I should be very suspicious of anything published by Global Research, which has links with far right conspiracy theorists and economists.
Its founder is the Canadian Michel Chossudovsky, and it has links to European commentators sympathetic to Slobodan Milosevic and Vladimir Putin. And links to the neo-fascist International Eurasian Movement.
These people's agenda has always fascinated me. They are dead against NATO, the EU, "Zionism" etc etc etc. But it isn't clear exactly what they actually stand for, other than authoritarianism of varying sorts.
