Here is another survey report as food for thought (and perhaps discussion)

all reports showing Britain in a bad light are flawed! They should be read only in the light shining out from Boris's posterior.
They won't a few videos so all I can say is ...good luck.
the last one put NZ/AUS/UK 195-197 in the world for something or other. When you look into it, it was because of some sort of LGBT cobras introduced into the mix. Even the most anti British eejit would not put us at 196th in anything.
‘ The average level of global peacefulness deteriorated 0.34 per cent on the 2020 GPI. This is the ninth time in the last 12 years that global peacefulness has deteriorated.
And I bet that doesn’t cover the Recent BLM influence. How can you measure something part way through a pandemic. Surely you have to wait until the end of it to make any meaningful report?
sorry 160 something, oh and it was because we don't give travellers a knighthood each or some bovine faeces:

Sad thing is, some company has made money writing that tome-of-crap.
thanks though karl, welcome relief from Floydgate.
ZM: "Sad thing is, some company has made money writing that tome-of-crap. " - well they've got at least one avid fan!
Will Karl join in this thread or is his non involvement ‘standard’? ‘Twould seem so.....

Don't count your chickens...someone is bound to mention it.
Someone already did.
"the last one put NZ/AUS/UK 195-197 in the world for something or other."

I and I'm sure I speak for many others, look forward to many more, similarly insightful contributions...
it's a pretty well respected think tank, ZM, they draw up their susrveys with the Economist Intelligence Unit. They've been going for about 15 years.

A very predictable response from the usual suspects, thank you - rather proves a certain point, doesn't it ("ouch", in case it eludes). I would like the protesters on here (against the revelation of unfavourable comparisons) to post links to comparable studies where the UK comes out well. That would be an effective antidote, if one can be found.
Not really bothered who they are. No one can draw a conclusion part way through a pandemic.
Karl: Interesting that you did not return to your last thread on this and answer some pertinent points made. Must be very tiring trawling around looking for things to denigrate us with.

ZM, this survey has nothing to do with the effects of Covid-19, it comes out annually been months in the making. Changes from last year are annotated and most individual country changes are small.

TTT 09.01, you posed the same comment on someone else's thread somewhere not long ago and at the time I replied there (the survey in question on my thread speaks for itself, no remarks made about it there that need my input) but now I can't find that thread. Additionally, I am content to leave you to your paranoia and to your world - but can't help feeling that of all the enemies the UK may have, the worst is the UK itself.
Karl, then how come there are 25 references to it in the document?
