The 'Lia' Thomas thing is an absolute disgrace.

Ranked something like 500 when he was competing against men, but when competing against women he was ranked 1. This alone shows how farcical the situation is.

Thomas beat the Olympic silver medalist, and it was reported it looked like he was deliberately going slower than he could, most likely to avoid the gap between the two not being so large that people would question why the hell is is competing against women. If Thomas was in the Olympics with the silver medalist he beat, he would be the women's world champion, having stolen a womans place on the US Swimming team.

He's a cheat, and I hope women start refusing to compete against him, because that will nip the silliness of Thomas competing against women in the bud.

In a thread last year when Thomas was discussed, one AB member said "Good for her", and given who said it, he was being serious.

One thing that's disturbed me about much of this is that if you are of a certain age, and voice criticism or difficulty in comprehending change...in spite of being fairly open minded...you will get labelled and pigeon holed.
