Should I Send This Card Or Not?

We're often told that there is a difference between 'ordinary' Muslims and extremists, so ignoring those who call for violence and Islamic domination as they march in support of Palestine, but thinking only of the Muslim school children and their parents and supporters who are making news by intimidating students into adopting the hijab, to observe Islamic fasting rituals, and to withdraw from some school activities because they are considered 'haram'; the student who is battling her school in court (at the taxpayers' expense) for the 'right' to pray during school hours, the protestors outside schools, causing one to close early in order to protect staff and pupils, and those who are threatening teachers to the extent that they fear travelling on public transport, one of whom is still, after a very long time, in hiding. The people who are responsible for all of this carry on their regular everyday lives living among us. Are they 'ordinary' Muslims - or are they extremists?

The civilian deaths are an unfortunate consequence of those civilians allowing their government to hide in and under, their schools & hospitals, knowing full well that their purpose was to make hostile rocket attacks on the civilians living in Israel, when cognisant of their avowed intention of destroying those Israeli citizens, their homes, and the complete annihilation of their country.
//take a look at the United Arab Emirates.//
Yes, do take a look. The Arabs have for centuries been renowned for their fabulous architecture - the Blue Mosque and the fairy-tale Topkapi Palace in Istanbul; magnificent castles in Spain, the stunning Alhambra ... all built of course before the Spanish got wise and booted them out ... but I digress.... and this is to name just a few examples. However, looking a bit deeper into this fine example of progress ....
....Punishment for perceived crimes include flogging and the removal of limbs, and penalties for homosexuality, extra-marital sex and adultery range from minimum of 6 months in jail to the death penalty. But on a lighter note prosecution is only carried out on a complaint of the husband or legal guardian of one of the two people involved. No point in women complaining then because it follows that if only complaints from a husband or legal guardian are taken seriously no man is ever prosecuted for adultery.
Yes, the UAE - a veritable beacon of civilisation.
n. //The Arabs have for centuries been renowned for their fabulous architecture //
True, but are these mosques any more 'fabulous' than our great cathedrals? Also you have to ask, where did it come from?
Islamists claim it as something highly original and specific to them & their religion, but early Islamic architecture was influenced by Roman, Byzantine, Iranian, and Mesopotamian architecture and all other lands which the early Muslim conquests conquered in the seventh and eighth centuries. Further east, it was also influenced by Chinese and Indian architecture as Islam spread to South and Southeast Asia.
Beyond derivative architecture, what else have they offered to the world?
Where is their Bach ? Where is their Michelangelo?
