So I'm in a really bad place as I'm in an underpaid job that I don't like, no house, no car or partner. I never had enough money either even though I got a good socail life but I just feel like I'm worth nothing

I told them where I'm working and if goes well then probably quit the laundry

Are you happy to just leave the place, after taking leave, without giving any notice at all?

I'll give a week notice at least.

It's daunting so much to learn

Abbey, you said 'If it goes well, I'll probably quit the laundry' - 'probably' suggests there's a chance you wouldn't. Anyway, wait and see how you cope with the tills, customers etc.

Abbey, I'm sure there must be helpful information in many of the guides, links etc that people have given you here over the past few months. After your difficulties in learning new skills in all of your jobs last year, you should take any help that is given, suggested. PS If you have worked with customers 'all your life', I'd expect, hope, some of those skills would come back.

Abbey/  Many people, I am sure, are a bit nervous about learning new skills - I've been there but always found other staff more than willing to guide me at first.  Try not to worry.

Abbey, the first day - maybe even the first week - in a new place will always be tiring(as you know from all your other first days). Remind yourself of how much you need and want a full-time job....with full-time pay!
