The minimum age to drink alcohol in a licensed premises is 18, that does not apply at home!! but serving alcohol to an under 5 is probably seen as child abuse!

I think the principle of a Quarter Day is largely forgotten these days, so one could be forgiven for assuming CD is (now) a public holiday.
