I want to live alone. I enjoy my own company .I am not interested in other people if they are not useful to me. I don't like to socialise as most people just talk rubbish.

Hiya Ray . No, still got it sadly- looks like it's here to stay for a while yet, but thanks for asking! x
Hiya ray! I'm good & laughing so much at this thread! We might as well just walk about in a box with a slit in at eye level & may be a sliding shutter thing when we don't feel like talking! Me thinks you're a lot more sociable a person ray! xxx
I love this thread. We're sticking to Villa holidays from now on and no more hotels or apartments, I think people see you enjoying each others company and are just so beside themselves with nosiness that they absolutely must come and ingratiate themselves into your company, just in case they miss something. It drives me mental. Grrrrrrrr :-p
God that must be horrible, is it triggered off by food? or stress or don't you know? must be so painfull x
Yeah sky ! Like those Asian ladies with just the letterbox for their eyes! Wouldn't have to bother with hair, make-up etc!
Come to think about it... as I'm pregnant, the worst thing is people think they have the right to touch my bump!

At the end on the day... it's MY belly! Leave it alone :0(

Goodness, you wouldn't touch someones armpit would you???
Not really skippy, I like meeting my friends etc, but hate the wifes work dos, and avoid if I can, but would love to meet some of the people off of here, do avoid some relatives though xx
Dunno ray- been struggling with them for 30 yrs now. Got physio apptmnt soon though, + that usually fixes them for a while x
I feel like I've opened up my very private thoughts on here, I need to recoil lol!!!
Anyone hovering? thoughts?
Hiya hau xxx
I would if it was sweaty and hairy andrea. but will leave your tum for you to rub :-)

Hope it does help Bath xx
ray - Could you imagine a get together with some of us on this thread? Furtive sideway glances! Funny thing is, once I've had a couple of drinks I love everyone!!! I am a very loving person believe it or not!
Do you not think that a factor of how everyone seems to be of this nature is that we all use this website as much as we do??
Yes Dot, I certainly do. We can socially interact when and with whom we want to without making any effort and without anybody invading our private space.
You could be right there Dot . I would say I've got quite an addictive personality- what about you?
Hi dot, yes I agree xxx

Me too! Who you lookin at! xxx
well my family always say i am adictive, like when I start collecting something, i spend a fortune getting all the bits of pottery to match, for example !! which is what i have just been doing this last month on ebay!!! I should never gamble lol Not sure is being adictive is the same as being on here though, as regards personality, but certianly ,ost people seem to empathise
Hi everyone. What a cracking thread you have started, rosamundjohn . What a great discussion! I think what you describe is more common than believed. As evidenced by, well, ALL of AB!
Hi everyone.
This feels like a Loners Anonymous initial meeting!
I am 22, love people, chat in the street, have some great friends who I have lots of time for. I like the odd night out, but it has to be with people I like, and if I am not enjoying myself I will leave! And I HATE unexpected callers. I just think it's, well, intrusive! And I like my own space. I am t home much more than my partner-only work part-time and I am at Uni just one day a week this year. So I am used to the company of one...and the dog, who's always up for a chat!
But on the whole, I can't be done with this networking for the sake of it, not in my personl life anyway (it's vital at work, and I would like to keep it there!). I like the friends I have, and the ones I make along the way. I am not cold, or arrogant, or stand-offish, but I just know who I like to spend time with. And I learnt a long time ago that there is no point wasting precious time with people who you don't even like, just to be 'sociable'. Because it isn't sociable, it's painful! And you know, there are people who would value your company much more!

There is nothing wrong with not loving everyone and being a party animal. Do I sound defensive? Oh dear...I didn't mean to. I am just happy with the way I am!

skyep, I think the world can be quite introverted in general, yes, as everyone has everything they need in easy reach, and people now prefer not to mix sometimes. But I like to mix. Just in an organised manner!
dot, I think your observation is correct...online interaction is just so easy! Just hopefully not to the detriment of 'real life'.

So I would love to meet you all, yes...Just call me before you arrive! x
Would anyone say I'm a depressive? I think I'm just selective xxx
