Do the world’s injustices—including those instigated by hypocritical religionists—prove that there is no God?

Elderman:- Can you do one about what God actually IS please? Thanks.
//She not mymom, it's she//

Is "She" pasted?
Sith, It wasn't a joke it was a serious but slightly veiled philosophical point. The point being in simple terms, why do you think you have to choose a religion? Even if god existed it would not be necessary, amongst all of your god's alleged utterances where has it been demanded that you join an organised religion? You appear to have effectively gone through a catalogue of religions to choose the one that best suits you..Doesn't that seem a trifle self serving and superficial? Do you really think it matters to your god which religion you belong to, you all claim the same god ( as if you own an omnipotent deity). It is all completely ridiculous,
The greatest alfresco meal mentioned in biblical times wasn't burger and chips for the multitude. The 5000 were fed on fish and bread. Enough said?
Maidup, I'd be flattered if Eddie Izzard used one of my lines. It was all my own work.
anyone who thinks five loaves and a couple of fishies went round 5000 needs their head tested. a scale and a crumb, anyone?
Where does it say how big, or small, those loaves and fishes were?
Did I miss much?
Just another metaphor then Sandy?
No nothing Ummm...if you feel you've missed anything pleased refer to any one of the 10,000 or so copy and pasted threads that the OP has started- you'll get pretty much the same from any of em.
"Are there Valid Reasons for Atheism?"

We could just try common sense for a start!
Hi Ratter, nice to have you back!
jomifl, ty :)
If it was 5000 fish suppers it would have to be taken with a pinch of salt.

Welcome back, Ratter.
I'm between a rock and a hard plaice, Sandy.
no jomifl, for starters for example islam believes in one god, hinduism believes in over a thousand. christianity believes jesus was the son of god, islam does not. so they are not all the same
Well done, everyone! There's a lot of good discussion and humour on this thread, and Elderman's tactic of putting up new and irrelevant questions hasn't spoiled things!

Could you nice people come over to the First Church of Answerbank, please? We're thinking of having a Revival Meeting, but need a Billy Graham figure.

Sith - I'm not religious, but have always been curious to see that Jesus is a prophet of Islam, and Christians are given a status as "people of the book"

Does Islam accept/agree with any part of the Christian bible?

Are there any Islamic words or actions of Jesus which aren't in the Christian bible?
^^ This should be interesting. :o)
