jom, this may come as a suprise to you but as part of friday prayer they do sermons (speeches) and this was one of the topics. Child marriages and the mosques raised money for islamic aid (a muslim charity) to suuport young people.
Apart from that it is the people who live in those countries duties to stop it.
If islam was that bad a religion than how come many people are converting, men and women and children, even after all the things that are being said in the media like 9/11 and the 7/7 bombings?
and there are many others. Now i know your excuse is going to be high birth rates and marriages and all that, which i am not saying isnt true, yes those are some of the reasons but if islam was that bad how come so many people convert to islam even with all the bad things being said about it? surely they cannot all be mad? I mean they have all the reasons to hate islam because of the media, yet they choose to convert. why? they study it. realise it is not about killing innocent people and they realise what jihad really is. Not this twisted version al qaeda give you. Jihad is a personal struggle, this is higher jihad, lower jihad is defence, not attack.
In the end you can say all you like about islam, call it crap if you want, but if that was the case than how come it is one of the fastest growing religions in the world with one of the most converts. Even after all these attrocities? it is because they have faith? faith in god? you may call me misguided for saying this, but than again, i am pretty much getting used to it from you.

no birdie, i am answering your question. You are all saying that islam is so bad on girls and women. However there are lots of girls and women converting to islam? that goes against what you are saying. If what you said was true than less should be converting and more should be leaving. Open your eyes, that is not the truth. It is obvious that women are converting to islam, even after everything they hear.
