The Believers frequently propose that mortal life has no point without the everlasting life that follows for the faithful.

Yet that promise is to a place where there seems nothing to do but worship God for an eternity. How does this offer them more of a "point"?

Some tell us that we won't need our bodies in this new paradise. So no eating, drinking, singing, sex or other physical exercise. We won't talk because we will already know each other's thoughts. So no card games, crosswords or jokes.

And you get an eternity of this as "reward" for giving up the focus of one's whole natural life when you could actually do something?!

Have I missed something?

Locusts Abraham and Moses and Daniel who were profits // sit around doing nothing all day long // if you think about the Angels in the heavens // do you think they sit around //and do nothing .
2 Everlasting life // if there is a possibility of everlasting life in the heavens I don't think you will be sitting around playing the harp. There will be lost to do. If Everlasting life refers to the earth //what you will get is a new start just like Adam and Eve got in the beginning with human bodies.// And plenty to do. Isaiah 65..21-25 // that's what I think I hope this is some help
Ta mib, just what I wanted!
That is amazing, mibs!
you wouldn't really guess from that site that Texas is nearly half as big again as California, would you?
Mind boggling! Religion shrinks more and more by the moment.
So you accept that at one time the earth had no life on it. Scientific opinion agrees, and so do many religious books. Still, you may realize that those two sources—science and religion—differ in explaining how life began on earth.
Genius.
Dombovar, yes .... and?
Can you imagine your millionth birthday ?

The first human pair were created not to die but to live eternally, but they did not want it, the same today. (John 17:3)

Theists often put forward the notion of no having a body in the afterlife when confronted by the question about what state the body will be in when the believer reaches heaven.

Do we get the decrepit body that took the last breath of life, the mangled one in the fatal car accident? Does the baby stay a baby for an eternity?

The Jehovah's Witnesses claim that the promised paradise is actually Earth. The dead are waiting in limbo for the judgment day when the good will be returned to Earth.

So back to the same pointless existence then, except it goes on for an eternity?
A trip is pointless if we are not heading in the right direction! Likewise, if there is no destination!
Goodlife, //The first human pair were created not to die but to live eternally, but they did not want it, the same today. (John 17:3)//

John 17:3 doesn't say that. You're making it up again.

When Jesus came and preached to them, he said that their belief was in vain because of their tradition. (Matthew 15:7-9) The apostle Paul later wrote of the Jews that ‘they had a zeal for God but not according to accurate knowledge, and they sought to establish their own. It is the same today. Why? Because you want it that way.

But you believe what you want - as you always do.
Goodlife, //When Jesus came and preached to them, he said that their belief was in vain because of their tradition. (Matthew 15:7-9)//

Once again, you’re making it up. That verse says nothing of the sort. It doesn’t mention tradition. It advises against following the teachings of man. It’s talking about YOU.

Twice in your last few posts you've invented text that isn't there because that's what you want to believe, but unlike you I don’t invent it. I look at the evidence before me and at the dubious history of the early church, and find amongst all the other falsehoods the deliberate demonization of the Jews, so please don’t bleat on to me about the opinions of an ambitious man who never met Jesus and never heard him speak. He, and the early church, did what you do - they made it up because it suited their purpose.

//The Jehovah's Witnesses claim that the promised paradise is actually Earth. The dead are waiting in limbo for the judgment day when the good will be returned to earth.//

It is true JW's believe the promised paradise is on earth. But as for waiting in limbo. No. The dead are just that - dead. There is no waiting around. (I think you are confusing it with catholicism) As for the good to be returned to earth, the Bible does inform us that the "righteous and the unrighteous" will have a resurrection. Then they will be judged accordingly.
