i would never ever mock or condemn anyone's faith.
My isue is purely with goodlife's endless sanctimonous attitude which affects the worst of Christians - 'I know something you need, so i am in a better position than you ...' and variations thereof.
Every week or so, he pots something, waits for replies, and then points out wherre we are all going wrong. His response this time -"Let's see if you can learn anything ..." - in other words, not him, because he knows it all, but us poor thickies stumblng through life without his all-encopmasing faith.
His pompous and superior attitude is what gives Christians a bad name.
So - as usual, i have no problem with Christianity - just with Christians like goodlife.

Hi Andy x I hadn't read back so didn't know Sqad was replying to your comments!! I agree with you. I don't believe in a God or have any religion, but I never try to ram my views onto anybody else. I have several friends who are truly religious - we respect each other's views and never discuss religion.

Me too - in fact my wife is Catholic, and I go to Mass with her every Sunday.
Some would say that makes me a hypocryte, but i don't agree. I go to spend time with her, and mutual friends, and i am not so dogmatic about my absence of faith that I need to make a point about it by absenting myself from a pleasant hour on a Sunday morning.

So what exactly is the point goodlife is trying to make? He's telling the non-believers not to read his posts and since the believers have no need to read them, who are the posts directed to?

It's no coincidence that the first 3 letters in the name of the addictive element in fags is the same as one of the less formal names for the Great Hornéd One. I give them both a very wide berth.

Did Jesus and his apostles establish the Roman Catholic Church, then why is that you look in vain.
Because from Matthew through the Revelation, is there any mention of the “Holy Father,” a pope, a college of cardinals, archbishops, metropolitans, patriarchs, monsignors, right reverends, priests, abbots, monks and nuns?
No the Scriptural record does tell us of true Christians being organized back like that, but if the structure of the Catholic Church is in line with that of the early true Christians, how is it that we find absolutely no mention of it, not even a hint regarding such an elaborate system?
No Jesus said, do not call anyone your father on earth, for One is your Father, the heavenly One.”—Matt. 23:8, 9 .and is was the Romans who put Jesus to death.
