Why are you bothered?
Why don't you just let people believe what they want?
What harm does religion do?

This is one example of the harm religion can do.

//Religion is [also] the pursuit of truth.//
Can you justify that statement in your own words and not using quotes from a lonely old man who died in bed with his cats?
No, but I definitely heard one of the cats say 'miaow!'
Khandro, //Religion is [also] the pursuit of truth.//

No. Religion is the presumption of truth. For the religious, the search ends there.

Wise man say; Religion is not a destination, it is an endless journey.
Endless journey, eh, Khandro? Better to travel hopefully than to arrive then?
Khandro, which of your endless supply of 'wise' men would that be then? I've heard the expression in various forms, but can't recall the one that relates to religion. That said, if you're implying that the religious continue to search, I think most of them would disagree with you.
v_e; I wish I'd said that.
naomi; His name begins with K. :-)
Thought it might. Not so very wise then. ;o)
K, K. Konq Qiu? Kant? Kierkegaard? Kilroy?
Keep going, I'll tell you when you are getting warm. :-)
