Just thinking if they are citizen kings in heaven, they could be titled 'Burger Kings' - the company isn't owned by JWs, is it?

Goodlife..with every respect to you, as the JW's have proven themselves incapable of predicting the end of the world with any accuracy whatsoever, any attempt by you to see in the future must therefore be taken with a large amount of salt.
Mikey4444@ For your information, JW’s DO NOT predict the end of the world.

What they do is preach the Good News of God’s Kingdom – then the end will come. No one knows when that day will come. There have been many End of World predictions made by various organisations. However, if Jehovah God brought an end to it – say – 40 years ago. Then there would be many people who would have died and not had the opportunity of life. As it is, over 400 per day worldwide are coming to Jehovah God and have the prospect of a life everlasting on a paradise earth.

Baldric@ All JW’s are volunteers. No one is a drain on society, they work for their living either part time or full time depending on their financial needs. If they are capable of work and can find it , then they do it whatever the job, menial or professional. JW’s are in all walks of life, from a road sweeper to a Scientist.

Insidious eh?
So that's 2 responsible jobs, I wonder who the scientist is...obviously a christian scientist.
Goodlife, //JW’s DO NOT predict the end of the world. //

Naughty, naughty. They don’t now – but they have in the past – many times. At least your website tells the truth – even if it’s only in that respect.

//HAVE JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES GIVEN INCORRECT DATES FOR THE END?
Jehovah’s Witnesses have had wrong expectations about when the end would come. //

that confirms it, naomi; that JWs are in fact economists as both have had a habit of getting their forecasts seriously wrong and trying to delude the public at large.

Goodlife...drivel again I'm afraid.( 17:14 ) Naomi is right ....here is the evidence ::

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Criticism_of_Jehovah's_Witnesses#Failed_predictions

You guys got it wrong in 1914, 1918, 1925 and 1975. Is it any wonder you have stopped predicting these days ! You couldn't time a boiled egg.
/ You couldn't time a boiled egg. /
On their record to date I think they could manage a soft boiled egg quite well.

Ah but at 4 mins its perfect, 4.5 mins ruined !
mikey - it depends what height you are at - we used to have to adjust gas cylinders to allow for pressure for cooking use in the Himalayas etc. Believe on Everest water boils at 85C roughly and your egg would, therefore, be undercooked at 4 minutes.
Jomifl Just to remind you ( in your reference to Christian Scientists ) that the J Ws are NOT Christians.
Question Author
Never thought of DTC ! Are there any JWs at 29,000 feet though ? I live at just above sea level and we are *** infested with them !

Maybe that is the ultimate answer to dealing with JWs if the usual efforts don't work...live higher up !
they would be nearer their God too - solution - expedite them to Nepal and let the Ghurkas sort them out.....
joke, Sir Oracle; come on, keep up!
Yes I realised that it was intended as a joke DT,but why bring "Christians" into anything to do with JWs.

Had we been discussing Muslems then using the phrase Christian Scientists would have been inappropriate and the JWs are no more Christian than Muslems.

Yes I am in pedantic mood this evening (as per usual ! ).
Naomi@I thought you were an intelligent woman. How wrong! You can’t even understand what you are reading. Jehovah’s Witnesses have never predicted the end of the world. They have expectations, but not predictions. The article you referred to was not predicting the end of the world.

For example:
1) The earth will not be destroyed, either by fire or by any other means. Instead, the Bible teaches that this planet is mankind’s eternal home. Psalm 37:29 says: “The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it.”—Psalm 115:16; Isaiah 45:18.
2) “The world is passing away and so is its desire, but he that does the will of God remains forever.”—1 JOHN 2:17. “The world” that is to pass away is, not the earth, but the world of mankind whose lives are not in harmony with God’s will. Just as a surgeon might remove a cancerous tumor to save a patient’s life, God will “cut off” the wicked so that good people can truly enjoy life on earth. (Psalm 37:9) In that sense, “the end of the world” is a good thing.

Jehovah’s Witnesses do not look to an end of the world, but an end to this wicked system on the earth today.

Simply, because JWs extended out of Christianity, but then were rejected by them because they didn't recognise the Trinity. However, their roots are Christian and hence jomifl's play on words. Sometimes one has to state the bleeding obvious.....
A paraphrasing of this drivel, perhaps, goodlife: http://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/2013003 I am impressed that it is a paraphrasing and not a c & p.
Goodlife, I make no mistake - I know exactly what you’re hoping for - (I almost said expecting – but hoping for is far more appropriate) – and that is the demise of everyone who isn’t a Jehovah’s Witness – the end of the world for them all. What a happy day that will be for you. :o)

Sir Oracle, Goodlife, like the rest of his fellows, is a ‘True Christian’. Didn’t you know that?
