Many people are attracted to Jehovah’s Witnesses because of the high moral standards and the love that they see among the Witnesses. That is a fine start,

But it does not mean that such people have faith. Others may have a marriage mate or a parent who is strong in faith, and they may share in some of the activities engaged in by that one whom they love. Having such an influence in one’s home is truly a blessing, but this too is no substitute for personal love of God and personal faith.—Luke 10:27, 28.

// Beso@ If you don’t like what I say then don’t come on my threads. You talk a load of rubbish anyway. So in future I will not answer your comments.//
goodlife, you go on other threads and give your opinion and yet dictate to others that they must agree with what you say on yours. How typical of the double standards your religion promotes.

^That, coming from a self-confessed Christian, sounds pretty radical to me.
Who Are Fully Convinced That The Bible Is The Word Of God?

What puzzles me is (a) did god write the book his/her self or (b) if he/she didn't then who did god dictate it to.

Tony, the writers were 'inspired' ... allegedly.
methyl, Tony's question was reasonable - but your answer did nothing to enlighten him.
Thanks methyl, glad you were impressed ( but not impressed enough to answer though ) lol.

Ah inspired, thanks naomi.
You're welcome. ;o)
Good question, tony.

The bible, along with all other religious paraphernalia is just fairy stories.
The writers were those in the early centuries who could read and write and used this to control the illiterate masses. Back the religion was power and the church generally catholic in Europe got away with whatever they wanted. In the middles ages and into the 1500/1600s pope would happily bless any acts of genocide to spread the word of God against the pagan hoardes.

Religion is more about power than Faith.. you want Faith, put that in the things you hold most dear
So, the answer to the OP appears to be "no-one".
methyl, you're not a 'target'. Dispense with the victim mentality.
....... anyway.... Pagan worship can be so much more fun.. ;0)
What you celebrate new life at April, have a service for the harvest, have a feast in the middle of winter, that sort of thing?
Oh you mean religion copied the main Pagan festivals....... like Lughnasadh, Eoster, Yule, Beltane and Samhain.... you would have thought something so powerful and importatnt like Christianity would have its' own.... ;0)

You know all people are inclined to worship someone or something, even if it is to worship one’s own self.

So the people who sourly says, “I do not worship anybody or anything!, lets say a Athiest is really a worshiper of himself. He makes himself a human god, but due to his egotism he is unaware of that fact.
I don't believe an athiest or especially an agnostic is necessarily a worshipper of themselves. There are also many believers who do not worship.
