What Has God’S Kingdom Been Doing ?
34 Answers
Well after thousands of years of human existence, The Bible, in the prophecy of Jeremiah, chapter 10, verse 23, says about this: “To earthling man his way does not belong. It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his steps.”

My King James' version gives the translation of this verse as " O Lord I know that the way of man is not in himself ; it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps"
My " Good News Bible" gives it as " Lord, I know that noone is master of his own destiny; no person has control over his own life".
( Sorry, this is not one of the Hebrew books of the Bible on my bookshelves, so can't get at it with my hebrew dictionary)
Both of these are a bit clearer than goodlife's version, but they both seem to state the obvious, whether you are religious or not. It says " you can try, but you can't make your life follow the path you want it to."
What it boils down to is:
"stuff happens"
The verses before this one, and the verses after it do not seem to carry a ringing message about god being the great director of people's destinies, as we have come to expect from goodlife
By the way, was there a question in there ?

It means that test the claim that man does not need God’s direction to be successful, with all the sophisticated sciences and inventions have been used to try to help. But nothing has solved man’s problems.
What all of this shows is that we need the kingdom of God ruling over us. And when it does take over total control of earth’s affairs, what will it mean for you? (2 Corinthians 4:4)

So what is goodlife saying If we all keep all the commandments, global warming will cease ? Pollution, disease, zillions of tons of plastic waste in the oceans, ice-caps melting, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, forest fires, and the common cold will all cease to trouble us, and "solve man's problems" ???
Really ???
Really ???
