Give Me Just One

piece of evidence that God exists...just one!
Have just been reading through the posts here on R&S and all I see are (tortuous) apologetics for ones own belief system. We have Theland who pleads with us to find salvation and then disappears. We have goodlife who appears incapable of thinking for himself and just copies and pastes. (typical JW from my experience) and keyplus who views the world through 'koran glasses' and cant even begin to see the world in any other way than that in which he has been brought up in.
All God believers, in my experience, seem to view unbelievers as been willfull sinners. They seem incapable of understanding that others have their own understanding of the world and that God plays no part in it because there is no EVIDENCE.
For the time being, I HAVE to be an honest atheist (or at best agnostic) because I value truth and evidence over faith (and there are so many faiths that I couldnt possibly choose one out of thousands even if I had to.)
SO...... Just one piece of evidence will suffice and then maybe I could take it from there and see if YOUR God might be the way forward.
I thank you.

Does God exist? Well, you only have to look around you.
The truth is that we are surrounded by evidence of a Creator who is wise, powerful and loving. . It is not hidden in nature but is “clearly seen.” From the largest to the smallest, creation clearly reveals not only that there is a Creator but also that he has wonderful qualities.
Think about the stunning sunrise and sunsets. What about the food we eat, in so many varieties. And has been pointed out - the animals and insects. (bumble bees that have little engines!) They delight and amuse us.
When we look up at the night sky, do you not marvel at the stars and the universe?
How can any intelligent being say that there is no God or that we all came from nothing? Even scientists agree that there must be a designer as they look deeper into the complexities of life and the universe.

With your woeful picture of present life, people choose to live on. They suffer, yet want to live. They may be crippled, yet they wish life; blind, yet fear to die. The deaf and dumb choose life and the old and feeble seek to push death off even as they totter toward the yawning grave.
This present life is as Job aptly described it: “Man, that is born of woman, is of few days and full of trouble. Like a blossom he comes forth and is withered, and he flees like the shadow and does not endure.” (Job 14:1, 2, AT)
Have you ever been in open fields when an airplane flew overhead, and noted the shadow that races along the ground? How futile for you to try to catch that shadow and halt it in its flight! It is just as futile for a man to try to hang on to this shadowy existence when life begins to slip away.
You and all his doctors with their medicines and therapies might just as well try to grab the airplane’s fleeing shadow on the ground.
This present existence is like the grass-blade that shoots up, only to wither and fade and die after a fleeting season.

My answer would be very similar to that written by Idiosyncrascy. I was reading a piece online about an American atheist who changed to believing in God, and he wrote something which refers to the scientific aspect:
"I enrolled in a course in biology at the feet of one of the great primitive life scientists in the country. As we discussed the initial beginning of life upon the earth in that class, we talked about the synthesis of various primitive chemical materials such as deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA).
I asked this professor what the process was by which the original life — the original living cells upon the earth — came into existence. How did the structure or generation of DNA occur? He said “Young man, that is not a question that falls within the realm of science.” In today's world we understand more about biochemical processes, but we cannot answer how in the environment of the primitive earth these processes came into operation.
I guess what was happening to me was the same thing that Lord Kelvin, a very famous British scientist, described in his writings when he made the statement, “If you study science deep enough and long enough it will force you to believe in God.”
Nailit, there is evidence of creation everywhere, and creation needs a creator.

Physicists have considered the existence of the universe, the solar system, earth and its life and especially its intelligent life, and have come to the conclusion that everything which has happened would have happened without the existence of any deity. So let's use Occam's razor, shall we, and conclude that if there is no need to postulate something, don't postulate it. Therefore there is absolutely no need to postulate any deity whatsoever,
How true the words of Jesus: “Blind guides is what they are.” “If, then a blind man guides a blind man, both will fall into a pit.” (Matt. 15:14)
And what a miserable pit of darkness and despair all those are in who have followed these blind atheist.
But how could such educated, intellectual themselves be so blind as to stumble into the quagmire of darkness in which they find themselves.
(2 Cor. 4:4)
