Do Christians And Muslims Worship The Same God.
186 Answers
Hi There I saw a post on facebook that said Muslims and Christians do not worship the same God. And I copied it on to my wall. Anyway one of my really pc friends said that is not true and it is hate crime to say that and if it is not removed she will phone the police. But surely that is true. Muslims worship Allah where as Christians worship God?

Khandro: My second post could not be inaccurate since it began with "I thought". I can confirm that that is exactly what I thought so you are wrong.
You are welcome to your opinion about my first post. I won't be upset since I have very little regard for your opinion due to your vast number of nonsensical posts on this site.

To answer your question I would say that Christians and Muslims should be worshipping the same God but unfortunately when Christians believe Jesus (pbuh) to be God, Son of God (trinity, three in one etc) then the things get confused.
As for the words “Allah” or “God” that has more to do with language you speak. Jesus did not speak English so he surely did not call his God, “God”.
But I will clarify it in a different way. Jews, Christians and Muslims should all be worshipping the God their Prophets worshipped instead of adding the prophets in that list. If they do so then things will be very simple.

//As the whole ethos of Christianity is based on the Holy Trinity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit I cannot see how anybody claiming to be Christian cannot believe that Jesus is the Son of God.//
Not all christians beleive in the trinity .
There are denominations who believe that the - father /son / holy spirit , are one .
