I despise Islam like I despise all organized religion, but that doesn't mean that I have to believe everything that the media portrays about a particular subject. (an example being that prisons are holiday camps...far from it)
Ive worked with muslims and while I find their beliefs ridiculous (just like I find the beliefs of Christians ridiculous) I couldn't fault them as people, in fact Ive found born again evangelicals much less easier to get on with.
Isnt it a similar thing to portraying all Catholic priests as kiddie fiddlers when clearly they arnt?

The professional liars don't bother me, Birdie. To be honest they are advancing their cause using all the methods prescribed by their odious faith. ("All is the greatest of deceivers" - 5:34?). I hate them, but they have my grudging respect.

What disappoints and frustrates me is the refusal of many posters (usually quite smart and well-informed, and certainly, I'm sure, well-intentioned) to consider that the correlation between Islam and terror needs an explanation better than mental illness, or on-line radicalisation, or whatever today's limp-wristed excuse is, and that such an explanation might be found in the ideology of Islam and the doctrine of jihad.

How is this? Why so incurious? Are they ignorant of fourteen centuries of history?
"Allah is the greatest of deceivers".

Sorry about the typo.

And, yes, they're proud of it.

Christians (these days a genuine "marginalised", "demonised" minority) call the "Father of lies" Satan.

Allah/Shaitan? Shaitan/Allah? Flip the coin.

keyplus90 knows in his heart..maybe, that all that is written is not true, as the bible.. best to leave as it as it should be, comments from mad men that have 0 relevance in the 21 century, we are on the high road..but we look back from where we came, travel light with no baggage.
Hello Birdie, Good to see you.
oh I get quran 5 - 34 ( Al maidiah) to be

Except for those who return [repenting] before you apprehend them. And know that Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

is this an example of taqqiyah we hear so much about ?
have never read the Quran or much of the Bible, but I am aware that the Quran says kill the non-believers.

Lovely.

Shame the Quran doesn't state how to tell a believer from a non-believer.
(or does it, please help if I've missed something, thanks)
Al Imran - Sura 3:54.

I get very confused you know.
It'll be subtle Alba, a bit like the masonic handshake.
The first pillar of Islam defines the core belief which defines a Muslim (and by implication a on-believer), Albaqwerty:

“There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is his messenger”.

I advised you and Naomi a long time ago to ignore the liar, Birdie. He feeds on this attention.

Nailit, do you have face to face communication with female muslims.
V_E, //I advised you and Naomi a long time ago to ignore the liar, Birdie. He feeds on this attention.//

He also skedaddles off pretty swiftly when unable to counter verifiable challenges. Ignoring him gives him free rein to mislead, and therefore, from my point of view, is not the wisest course of action.
My little Birdie, I will answer all of your questions when I will see you. I do not want to waste my time on "known time wasters". People who are here just for the sake of it and are only confined to the replies or answers they want to read.

So are you willing to come and talk to me face to face and p[rove what you know? Time, place, and people of your choice? And on that day either I will become atheist or you think about your future. Are you willing? Or else just wait until we are all no more. I am willing to wait, are you?
