A hard nosed atheist might deny the results of their own logic and agree with Dawkins, who shows himself up as a clown in his pursuit of his God hatred.
Can you deny that the God theory has more credence than that put forward by this world renowned atheist?
It's clearly impossible to disprove the existence of a designer, and it's not exactly clear how you could ever prove the existence of one either. It's an extraordinary claim that there was a deliberate purpose to the Universe, making it essentially the conclusion you should reach only once you've exhausted all other options, which will be never.
Debating about which designer it is therefore seems rather futile.
Where there is the presumption of a designer, there is a high probability of the presumption of knowledge of who/what the designer is . . . soon to be followed by what He demands of you.
nailit; John Lennon put it this way; "I believe in God, but not as one thing, not as an old man in the sky. I believe that what people call God is something in all of us. I believe that what Jesus and Mohammed and Buddha and all the rest said was right."
n. I tend to agree, but most of the good bits came from Jesus and the scriptures, the bad bits all came from his own warped sense of self-importance, sadly, it's mostly the bad bits his adherents seem to have latched on to.
Actually, at the time John Lennon said this, few of us really understood much about Islam, ... but the learning curve has sure been steep!
