What Has Faith Ever Given Us.

'Matereialistic' science has given us better health care...vaccines, eradication of certain diseases, anasthetics, anibiotics, pharmaceuticals, etc. Its given us instant communication with others via the internet, mobile phone, text, email and telecommunications and GPS systems. Its science that has enabled us to have food all year round and safe clean drinking water. Its science that allows us to predict the weather in advance and prepare for the worst of it. Its science that has utilised electricity so you can switch your light on and use your computer. Its science that has allowed us to board a jumbo jet and be on the other side of the globe in less than a day.

What has 'faith' in an unprovable deity ever given us?

I can guarantee hes not a jw, but he wont say what he subscribes to except to say that hes a bible beliving Christian....hes not Catholic either. Hates Catholics!

I told you my so called denomination. Why crave for a label?
I derive my faith from the bible, New Testament, teachings of Jesus.
Big churches can corrupt it but I don't.

Theland. You follow the New Testament. You don't agree with a lot of the Big Churches Doctrines. I can understand that and empathise. You do not need a church to have a faith.

Speaking personally, my faith has got me through some nasty bits of my life.

I am about 99% in agreement with James Jacob Prasch of Moriel Ministries. There are are others as well but he is the main one.
