Have you ever tried a Ouija Board - I never have. Some years ago some friends were using one at a party but I refused to get involved. I am not religious but don't want to take any risks with those things.

Some swear that their lives have been ruined by Ouija boards, some scientists say that they work through the ideomotor effect where we move things subconsciously, other say they are a harmless board. I have no idea but would never do one after some of the stories I have heard.

What do you think?

Here's the story about the woman who married a pirate spirit and things went downhill when she tried to leave him.

//Are you joking Nailit??? //
I really was NOT joking.
Freaked me out for a while there.
Many years ago, after a night out, ladies made one, whilst brother in law and I fell asleep in chairs.
Woke up few hours later, ladies freaked out at accuracy and warnings.
It is dangerous.
Did someone say my name? (D)Arkside.

Some scary stuff if true reading the posts, I tried it many years ago in my late teens... to this day I'm convinced my mate was moving the glass.

YIKES - I'm never going to do one.
Nailit - You don't need a negative spiritual experience, you are already deceived and glory in it.
Arky's always tapping on my glass at night, you're never alone.
Scratching my nails on your window... floating with my glowing yellow eyes...

Let me in Mamya.... let me in Mamya...

Smooth, best hide your ginger nuts ;-)
Read Hal Lindsay books - eg, "The Late Great Planet Earth," and, "Satan Is Alive And Well On Planet Earth."
Yes it's a joke isn't it?

Little red imp with horns and pitchfork, and oh so such harmless fun eh? NOT!
I used to do it with my Nan and Auntie and then cycle home at midnight :) I have no idea how the glass moves but it does. We didn`t have a board, we just made the letters and put them in a circle. I was never frightened.

I did, back in the 80's. When he predicted the end of the world. 30 Yrs on and still waiting.
Make the conversation as dark and terrifying as you wish Theland, I have told Tim what I recommend.
Leave well alone unless you know what you're doing with a Ouija board.
Not a game.
Worry when your head starts spinning 360°
Lindsay never predicted the end of the world with a date.
He simply said we were entering the end times.
I agree with him.
OG - Yes, it's a joke isn't it? Sadly not.
