to the religious....
So whats it all about?
Retribution, judgment, what?
End times (again) maybe?
A plague from God?
A precursor of the Anti-Christ?
Serious question, what the **** is this all about then?
Or is it simply an unprecedented virus that science will cure?

Agree with margarettom. We caught H2N2, whatever it was, 10 years ago, There was Asian flu when I was a kid (I ended up with pneumonia), my dad survived Spanish 'flu in 1918. Before that there were cholera plagues in the 1800s; before that there was the plague etc., etc. It happens. God doesn't cause it. This one seems to be the result of some horrible human eating habits which need stopping. You see God in the reaction. I am in hopes that a kinder, more caring and thoughtful society will emerge after this. Not biting, nailit, sorry. :)
Theland, don't bring me into this. I don't set traps. I simply ask questions when statements perplex me - and I'm still awaiting the answer to my last on the other thread in response to the claim that only God is good. //What is good about slaughtering thousands of people, women and children included?//
Theland, by responding to posts in the way that you do, you make a rod for your own back. I find your views on Muslims quite abhorrent and divisive, but I let you ramble on. I have Christian friends who work among Muslims and the vast majority of them are lovely peaceful people. Have you ever considered those who call themselves Christians, who have committed atrocious crimes in the name of God?
Electrochem - my views on Islamism, not Muslims, are whet upsets you.
A big difference.
The Koran is a book of violence and if followed literally, leads to the numerous terrorist outrages, that sadly, we are all so familiar with.
Yes there are lovely people who are Muslims, but they are definitely not following the letter and spirit of their holy book, written by a paedophile, who married his youngest wife when she was six, and consummated the marriage when she was nine.
A fine example for his followers.
