to the religious....
So whats it all about?
Retribution, judgment, what?
End times (again) maybe?
A plague from God?
A precursor of the Anti-Christ?

Serious question, what the **** is this all about then?
Or is it simply an unprecedented virus that science will cure?

Read your own posts, theland, and it will become clear. .

Nailit - Insread of criticising, why don't you put forward your own philosophy by which we can all live?
Millions of aborted murders maybe? Jolly good.
And you don't believe in God so also suggest life from chemicals?
You won't. Will you?
You are trying to impress yourself, or impress others.

Instead of asking a question why dont you answer one?

//You are trying to impress yourself, or impress others//
And since when did you become a psychic? Read my mind now can you?

Carry on. Asked many questions of you Theland. All ive ever got in response is a You Tube vid.
A personel response would have been sufficient.
You don't believe in God.
You are devoid of any belief that could anchor your morality.
Apart from throwing mud, and criticising, you appear quite vacant regards any meaningful conversation.
Remember, if you reject what I say, at least have the decency to replace it with your own theory.
Margaretom - I remember the Asian Flu Pandemic well. It affected all my family except me. We didn't have the media coverage like we do now though or the science. It passed and life carried on. The world figures were just as horrendous as Covid 2 9.

Theland, I suggested in a previous post that you stop taking the bait. You really are making a rod for your own back! Here's a question for you - do you think it's right for a Christian to post lewd jokes and comments on here?

Nailit, by starting a question with "Right go on then" (sic) you are clearly looking for the responses you get from Theland.

What happened to sensible debate?
//Remember, if you reject what I say, at least have the decency to replace it with your own theory.//

You keep saying this, theland, but it doesn't make sense. As I said before... if I told you my car was broken into, and it was done by a unicorn... you would be able to rule out my theory, even if you didn't actually know the right answer.
It doesn't make sense to cling onto an irrational answer and claim it to be true, just because you can't think of anything better.
Atheists aren't claiming they know, so you can't turn the question around, it is only you making the claims, so up to you to prove them.
//You are devoid of any belief that could anchor your morality.//

You mean... any "religious" belief? Mine is anchored in instinct (empathy) mostly, experience and upbringing. If it's something I wouldn't like myself, I wouldn't inflict it on somebody else. I don't need a book to tell me that.

The government statistics (page 11) say that 48% of prisoners in England and Wales are Christians. Much higher than any other group.
Are you sure they are more moral?
Theland, //Millions of aborted murders maybe?//

You mean as opposed to killing children that have been born - and making them suffer horribly in the process? Apart from the tales of genocide, read the story of David and Bathsheba and then tell me how just and compassionate your God was.

Theland to Nailit, // You are devoid of any belief that could anchor your morality.//

Why do you need an ‘anchor’ for your morality? Are you saying that without faith in God you’d be devoid of moral principle? That's quite worrying.
I keep asking him that, naomi... but no response yet...
You are made in the image of God so have an inherent morality.
Those that choose to rebel reject this and ask where is the authority?
Nami don't defend abortion please.
Electro, lewd jokes?
A bit lavatorial I'll grant but no more. I
People can defend whatever they want, Theland. Your views are not necessarily "moral".
If you believe people have innate morals anyway, then why do they need to be guided by a book?
I’m not defending abortion Theland. I’m asking you if killing children already born, as your God had no hesitation doing, is acceptable.

//Those that choose to rebel reject this and ask where is the authority?//

I don’t see any who reject God asking where authority for morality comes from. What are you talking about?
Moving the goalposts again. Standard.
Without God, lawmakers can pass immoral laws.
Anyway this a whole new can of worms.
Yeah, another one you’re out of your depth in. I’d stop opening them if I were you.
I've never asked "where is the authority". I'm an adult and can decide myself. We have laws, for those confused enough to not know.
Again, theland... which morals are you claiming you wouldn't have, without the bible?
