NASA has announced it is thirty years since the Hubble telescope was launched.
It has revealed the true wonders of the universe.
Brings to mind Psalm 19.

I have no idea, and neither do you.
//Anyway, I am not getting into a, ''he said she said,'' verbal ping pong.//

I was never intending to, theland. You asked me, so I answered.

Did God create himself?
"It has revealed the true wonders of the universe."

It's a shame religion wasn't quite so enamoured when Galileo said the same thing about his telescope. Took 350 years for the church to admit they were wrong on that one.
I think we’re in for a similar stint with Theland.
Not necessarily.... we are apparently going with logic now. So when theland replies to my question, we all will have the answer. (Lol.)

Thanks Zacs.
Probably because once you admit to being wrong about one aspect of your structure of blind faith then it casts doubt on all it's, claimed to be, divine revelations. It should be less dramatic now that the public are less naive about faith & belief.

What has Hubble revealed to negate the bible?
The public are spoon fed whatever scientists tell them, no matter how ridiculous.
Theland, people don't just believe whatever they are told. Could you please answer my question, while you are feeling logical?

Pixie : 09:10 - God is outside of and beyond time and in that sense is eternal.
His reason to exist is within Himself.
He is the First Cause.
That isn't logic. How? And why?
Question Author
I'm not privy to that information,
Sorry, haven't read all the answers but I have read some of them. Did anyone watch the programme on Friday about Hubble? That was more interesting than anything to do with God.
Theland, why do you expect others to be privy to information, then, when you don't know either?
Clarion, it's in religion for some reason. May be worth posting elsewhere if you want a sensible conversation x
Theland admitted at 9:14 that he has no idea. It was rather refreshing.
It's a start :-)
Theland, //God is outside of and beyond time and in that sense is eternal.
His reason to exist is within Himself.
He is the First Cause.//

You know this - but you don’t know how or why. How do you know this then?
Faith!
Ghost stories, all complete and utter nonsense created to tame the peasants and fleece them of their cash.
