NASA has announced it is thirty years since the Hubble telescope was launched.
It has revealed the true wonders of the universe.
Brings to mind Psalm 19.

Whereabouts?

Not sure why we need the Hubble telescope at all then - it obviously can't teach us anything that isn't already in the Bible.

What proof do you have that the bible is right, theland?
He’ll just come back and say ‘what proof do you have scientifically’, pixie. We’ve been here a thousand times before.

That's a long story. Read it. Make up your own mind.
Hi Theland, had a quick look at that link. Just seemed a load of bible quotes. As the bible is simply a work of fiction , it is meaningless.
I haven't claimed I have scientific proof though... theland claims he has biblical proof. So the ball is in his court...
In this discussion of G/god the focus on holy books seems to be the Old Testament, what about the holy books of other religions? The Koran, the Vedas, etc. Are they fictions too?

I suppose my question is really: if people believe in a G/god (or gods), is that entity (or those entities) the same for the different religions and belief systems, or does each religion have its own G/god or gods?
Then what point do you intend to make?

Me? I'm asking theland to prove his point. That's all.
Theland, //That's a long story. Read it. Make up your own mind. //

No. You claim to know and you claim your knowledge comes from the bible. The onus is upon on you to produce the evidence.
Hold on... he hasn't finished it yet ;-)
I often peer up at the night sky and contemplate the wonders of the universe and what it is all about.

Then, back to bed and feel comfortable with the fact that it is naff all to do with me.
Does it matter, in the vastness of space time we are nothing, and our existence so fleeting we will go unnoticed...

But the pictures from hubble were beautiful, within small images immensity.
Lol Sparky... deny everything ;-)
drmorgans, there are millions of Gods (allegedly) - over 30 million in Hinduism alone. Creator Gods like Theland’s are fewer - but still amounting to a very considerable number. A list here:

If this god entity made everything to perfection. Why have the earths continents moved. Most puzzling.
