Demons, Satan, Human Evil
78 Answers
Ive refrained from posting on here for the last week...but just cant help myself sometimes!
Just read through Theland's 'Return of the God Hypothesis' thread.
I have to ask
How many sane people, believe in demons or the Lord of evil (Satan)?
Ive spent many years involved in occult practices...ouija boards, Tarot, spiritualism etc, and yet all the christian literature that Ive read says that I should be possessed by now, but im not.
ive done countless ouija board sessions, Spent many hours listening to mediums (including private seances), spent pounds on Tarot (and other) readers....all as fake as f***
Demons??
As ridiculous as God...or fairies...or the flying spaggetti monster.

It's interesting that everyone remembers the 'spinning head' in the Exorcist, but imprinted on my memory as far more genuinely frightening were the moments when Reagan said to Karis, with utter chilling certainty "You're going to die up there …" and the second moment was when the demon spoke to Karis in the voice of the hobo he had met earlier on the street on the way to the house - only the demon could have known about that.
Far more frightening to me than some dodgy special effects.

Nicola Tesla said, (something like), we would have made more progress if science had spent the last ten years studying the non material aspects of the universe, than the whole of scientific history.
But alas, there is a prohibition on such free thinking, the scientific academic closed shop don't like it, and seriously admonish anybody who steps outside of their parameters.

Yes, but Tesla is cool. He sounds like a real scientist, but a bit weird and he has become a cult figure with the anti-scientist people. For some reason they think that he had occult secrets that main science wants to conceal. Theland, do you understand any of Tesla's work? Do you know anything about him at all?
