Ive refrained from posting on here for the last week...but just cant help myself sometimes!
Just read through Theland's 'Return of the God Hypothesis' thread.
I have to ask
How many sane people, believe in demons or the Lord of evil (Satan)?

Ive spent many years involved in occult practices...ouija boards, Tarot, spiritualism etc, and yet all the christian literature that Ive read says that I should be possessed by now, but im not.
ive done countless ouija board sessions, Spent many hours listening to mediums (including private seances), spent pounds on Tarot (and other) readers....all as fake as f***

Demons??
As ridiculous as God...or fairies...or the flying spaggetti monster.

A bit bit not enough apparently.
Theland; why do you seem to presume that I and Andy don't have superior knowledge than you about Tesla? And why do you think we are trying to be humorous? I wasn't. And why am I wasting time with you? You never listen or respond to sensible questions.
Theland, //Andy, you and Atheist cannot make such statements unless you are endowed with superiors knowledge//

And yet you, with no superior knowledge, have no hesitation in stating categorically that a God exists. How does that work then?
I don't c!aim superior knowledge, I simply don't ignore or suppress the evidence.
Firstly I stopped reading once the sniping started, I do believe In Satan (Fallen Angel) Demons (Lost souls) its all the yada, yada... full of BS (My Gods better than your God) religions I don't follow.
Theland, //I simply don't ignore or suppress the evidence. //

It isn't 'evidence'.
You are making a subjective personal opinionated statement which is a long way from the objectivity expected of you.
Blowing your own trumpet is not authoritative either.
//ive done countless ouija board sessions, Spent many hours listening to mediums (including private seances), spent pounds on Tarot (and other) readers....all as fake as f***//

Why keep doing it then?
\\ Blowing your own trumpet is not authoritative either.//
Theland, you quoting speculation as evidence isn't authoritative either.
I dont quote speculation, but scientists, including atheists and agnostics.
Naomi presents nothing ever except her own opinion.
Theland, although it’s par for the course, you shouldn’t be attacking me on a personal level at all - but when and where have I blown my own trumpet? I offer my opinions, I support them with evidence if necessary, and I answer questions - which is more than can be said for you.
Presenting merely a personal opinion is not expert.
I have referred to scientists both deists and atheists to attempt to support my views.
I'm not sure what makes them 'experts' when the same information is widely available to all who care to look. Furthermore you 'refer' to them, Theland, but you don't tell us what they say. And why don't you believe the 'experts' who disagree with them? Are they not 'expert' enough for you - and if not, how do you know? Just how do you decide who is an expert and who isn't?
Its quite easy when you dig into it.
That doesn't answer the question which was how do you know?
Of course it’s all nonsense, but I hold by my assertion that any seeker after truth (like you) has to dabble with it all, on the basis that there might be ‘something in it’. You don’t take anybody’s word for it - why should you?

The nearest I’ve come to a philosophy of living which has no gods and no mumbo-jumbo is Buddhism. Have you looked into it?

“Faith is not a possession of all people.” (2 Thessalonians 3:2) The same can be said of the truth. Even when confronted with truth based on the Bible, many people deliberately ignore it. Yet, how precious it is! Jesus said: “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”—John 8:32.
goodlife - // “Faith is not a possession of all people.” (2 Thessalonians 3:2) The same can be said of the truth. There's no need to parade your infinite sense of superiority over everyone else who fails to think as you do - anyone who cares has got it by now.
