What Would It Take To Convince You Otherwise

As a young, ex fundamental, evangelical Christian, what led me out of faith was an (albeit reluctant) admission that I was simply wrong. After years of wrestling with doubts, questions, voracious reading, Bible study, prayer, etc I simply had to admit that my faith was misplaced and I had NO evidence for my beliefs. I had to accept that I was wrong on so many levels.

SO...what would it take to convince you (if you are religious) that *YOU* may be wrong?

(Conversley....just to be fare...what would convince an atheist that THEY may be wrong)?

Khandro,

"Aristotle has more devoted readers than even Carl Benjamin, wouldn't you say?"

No I would not say that because I do not know if it is true.

Dr Michael Parenti was always 'kept' well back from prominence as he was far too dangerous to be allowed media access.
He grew up in a East Harlem working class family.

Some people often cite Chomsky for his (co-authored) 1988 book "Manufacturing Consent: The Political Economy of the Mass Media" ,
Parenti did a similar book 2 years earlier, ' Inventing Reality: The Politics of the Mass Media'.
(both books deal with the subject of mind control rather than dole out mind control)
