// You say it all depends on our worldview - but you spend day after day trying to persuade us that actually, it's your worldview that is the only one worth having. //
To which your response was -
// No I don't. //
But then, in response to a post from Nailit, you offered this -
// Yes Nailit, your search continues.
As much as you mock, take a moment to evaluate your own feelings.
You are totally dissatisfied and a bit paranoid aren't you?
You find some solace in joining up with who you think are like minded atheists, and obeying the old adage, ''safety in numbers,'' you proceed to attack believers.
Its sad.
You can be as blase as you like about death, but nothing you ever do or say will make the slightest bit of difference to your eventual destiny and fate.
Get real.
Get wise. //
Care to reassess your response to the suggestion that the only world view you have time for is your own?

In fact I am very interested in all worldviews, as up to now they have only ever served to strengthen my faith in God.
Can you suggest a worldview that is enlightening and gives us a basis for objective reality and morality?
Look around the world at the fruits of competing worldviews.
Not a pretty sight is it?

Holding any religious belief renders you part of the problem - something you would never acknowledge because you think you’re right and the rest wrong - but it’s true nonetheless.
Come with me to Jerusalem, where religious and political tension is palpable, and sit with me at my favourite café to watch the world’s three most powerful religions in action …the Jews, bowed heads nodding rhythmically into their prayer books, shuffling hurriedly along en route to the sacred Western Wall; the muezzin high in his minaret, aided by microphones, wailing the Muslims to prayer; and groups of cross-bearing Christians trailing in pilgrimage along the Via Dolorosa towards what they believe to be Calvary - and all of that enacted with great regularity.
I watch that collective blight on humanity unfolding before my eyes and can only think, ‘Stop, just stop. All of you’.
No, Theland, it is not a pretty sight. If you genuinely wish for peace in this world, just stop.

Yes the most holy place on the planet, claimed by all three major religions.
But its right there in the bible, Jerusalem, out of the way, of no material or strategic importance, yet it is never out of the news. As the bible says, Jerusalem will be a cup of trembling to all who come against it.
As a well travelled lady, you should use the knowledge you have gained to compare the Old Testament prophecies to the history of Jerusalem and the Jews, and Christ's prophetic sayings also, all of which came true.
Religious conflict will not stop, and it will all lead to more war
and combined with the other prophecies that are being fulfilled, (economic, moral decline, climate change etc etc),
the evidence for the accuracy of Gods Word is overwhelming.

and not learn a thing about any of them
this is another millenarial thread - contentious in its approach and gnostic (*) in its tenor
what will stop these unlimited threads
I mean it is not exactly the end of the world is it?
(*) first century Gnostics were pretty end-of-the-worldy
