We Are Living In The End Times

Why are we?
A street preach in my home town today proclaiming the 'End Times'.
JW's on AB preaching the 'End Times'
Evangelicals preaching the 'End Times'
Eh?
Why?
Where does this information come from?
Jesus and St Paul might have thought that they were living in the 'End Times' but the world carried on (for 2000 years)
People during the Great Plague could be forgiven that they were living in the 'End Times'
It must of seemed like it at the time.
People that celebrated the year 2000 could also perhaps be forgiven (Millenium bug etc)
Same with 2012 and the Mayen prophicies etc
World war 1
World war2
were both seen as 'End of the World' prophecies.
Add infunitem....
The world will carry on.
Wars will still abound.
People will still go hungry.
Earthquakes will still happen.
Viruses will still affect us.
And religion will still be irrelevant.

"Then say to them, "Thus says the Lord God; "Surely I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, wherever they have gone, and will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land;//
Well this blatantly hasn't happened has it - there's a Jewish family that live just around the corner from me, in England.

Naomi, from about 18890, the Jews began immigrating back into Palestine, and did not turf anybody from the lands that were owned by Arabs and ruled by the Ottomans.
The critical mass of Jews was achieved by land purchases.
The arrival of the Jews was totally morally justified, and you should have checked your history first.v

Theland I know history and I’ve no doubt you know history but that’s where the similarity between us ends because, unlike you I don’t try to pull the wool over anyone’s eyes. Stop taking people for fools because in the main they are not.
//…giving serious thought to these so called, ''coincidences?''//
You do that and you’ll find the foundation of the State of Israel was achieved by political design. Coincidence was surplus to requirements - as was the supernatural.

Hello Hans. Nice to hear from you.
Yes of course.
God has always met my needs, bit not always my wants/desires.
Yes, many people could say that, if they have home, food, heating, clothes etc, but when I pray for help, help comes sometimes from unforseen sources.
Remember too, that my needs are not limited to this life, bit the bigger picture is beyond the grave as well.
Jesus told us to take up our cross daily and follow Him, and our troubles are our cross to bear.

Naomi and Hans - Yes I take your points.
Having God in my life enables me, most times, to understand that I am not alone, and that God is sharing in my troubles, literally ho!ding my hand, getting me through. Then often some wisdom will occur and a way forward will become apparent.
It is a KNOWING that I am not alone, in spite of the bleakness I sometimes experience.

Give serious thought to cognitive bias!
You (and others) are making things fit into your narative, when they dont!
ONCE again, the predictions/prophecies are that *ALL* of Israel will be reunited (under David at that) AND under a king (it isnt)
There arnt any other tribes in modern day Israel (Danites, levites ect)
Stop making s*it up Theland.
