What upsets me is that Theland seems to be terrified of Hell. He may well think, or hope, that he will avoid Hell, but to my mind the very thought that he might die and be subjected to eternal physical and mental torture is shocking. I do worry for the mental welfare of people who can renounce their own human instincts to the extent that they believe in this stuff. I am sorry for those who do.

2 I was referring to Mamy's condescending tendency to speak on behalf of others. As for Bible interpretation, the truths stated in the Bible are very clear on this point. Theland is simply repeating the facts as the Bible states.
3 Yes, I admire Theland for standing up for what he believes in. Why shouldn't he? People are totally free to disagree, as many will.

From what I have seen before, the majority of AB Christians don't preach at us, don't 'tell' us things that are entirely without foundation, don't consign us to Hell for not believing in the things that they do. I'd be delighted if Theland could show us some properly-Christian traits rather than hectoring.
