There is a lot of anti-muslim feeling here on AB, and also some anti-christian feeling. I'd be interested to hear from muslims who have thoughts on this.

//What relevance has a security guards evidence to Stickybottle's question?//

The security guard was reluctant to investigate the Manchester bomber in the same way that the police were reluctant to investigate Muslim grooming gangs. Stickybottle’s posts are clear enough.
Peter Pedant @12:44 Tue 14th Sep 2021 ~~" // The Manchester bomber did what he did because no one had the guts to question him for fear of being branded Islamophobic.//

nope
a word to the wise - read the transcripts. ( 250 000 words a day) that is NOT what happened."
You’ve already posted that once and I’ve given you a link to show you it did happen.
"and I’ve given you a link to show you it did happen."

What,exactly, "did happen" naomi ??
sevenOP, are you determined to be awkward - or can you not read the link?

//Manchester Arena Inquiry: Security 'did not approach bomber over racism fears'//

It might not suit you, but that's what happened.
20:26, 7op, purely as it was addressed to me... the first 3 paragraphs are entirely inaccurate and clearly a result of either misreading, or misunderstanding what I posted.
Looking into the "reasons why"- well, obviously. Just because something "does" happen, it doesn't make it acceptable.
^That says nothing about the reasons.
I didn't say it did. I was correcting sb's misinterpretation.
So you're not going to answer his question?
3 years ago in Morocco we got chatting to a week long Muslim taxi driver. He was keen to explain his religion and was respectful in hearing ours (christian). We kept in touch ever since (WhatsApp)

It is very interesting hearing from a “normal”. Ie non fundamental but devout practicing Muslim.
I wish there were practicing Muslims on here but any that’s joined prob left after all us Christians get a bashing so imagine the Muslims!
naomi, your Link, https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-54695580 , is about an 18 year old security guard giving evidence in court and saying he did not want to appear racist.

"surely that's even more cowardly for them to let that continue...
stopped the police from doing their job....
You do not seem to accept that police forces did indeed act in such a manner
What were the factors that brought about such a mindset from the police ? " was Stickybottle's question @ 17:52 Wed 15th Sep 2021
And ...?
naomi: "The security guard was reluctant to investigate the Manchester bomber in the same way that the police were reluctant to investigate Muslim grooming gangs."

How many times do you want it answered? Twice so far.... I don't have the reasons, like nobody else does.
sevenOP, Three times you've posted the same thing from Peter Pedant, the master of gobbledegook. Why?
Or the "excuses", depending what you are hoping for.
Reasons suggest it is reasonable behaviour. But we all seem to agree it wasn't acceptable.
pixie, I haven't seen you say that on this thread before now. Okay. You don't know.
How would anyone know, why others are so scared of being seen as racist, they would rather this continued? I've never claimed to know, that's what I'm saying. If you do have answers, please say.
I've already said.
