Putting it another way, those who claim that he was dead have the job of explaining what killed him. It couldn't have been crucifixion, which was deliberately designed to be a slow lingering death lasting days. During that time breathing would become more and more difficult, cardio-pulmonary complications would set in, the victim would go into a coma and eventually die. The last thing he could do just before dying would be to cry out in a loud voice!
Jesus' companions weren't dead and had to have their legs broken. Pilate was surprised at the speed of his death. Taken down after a few hours, Jesus would have suffered from wounds in his wrists and feet and a sore back from the scourging. Joseph of A. and Nicodemus, with their bandages and ointments, in a cool tomb, could have got him on his feet in a couple of days, to limp off before the Romans put him back on the cross. Like everything else in the story, believing in the resurrection is a matter of faith, not of assessing evidence.

I don't think he died either Chakka, for the same reasons. I think he was drugged with the vinegar sponge he was offered to make it appear that he'd died, and he certainly wasn't dead when his side was pierced with a spear, otherwise he wouldn't have bled. This story has to be the greatest lie ever told.
No.
Jesus was sent to earth by his Father in heaven, Jehovah God, to pay a ransom with his perfect life, to buy back for us the right to again live without death. this complies with the promise at Revelation 21;4.
Jesus himself said;
(Matthew 26:51-54) But, look! one of those with Jesus reached out his hand and drew his sword and struck the slave of the high priest and took off his ear. 52Then Jesus said to him: Return your sword to its place, for all those who take the sword will perish by the sword. 53Or do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father to supply me at this moment more than twelve legions of angels? 54In that case, how would the Scriptures be fulfilled that it must take place this way?
