Halal meat what religion etc

I was on the bus the other day and was noseying into someones conversation and a lady was saying because of her husbands religion they only eat Halal meat and something about killing sheep when a new baby arrives, i only caught part of it and found it quite interesting, i'm curious as to what religion this refers to and if anyone has anymore information, thanks!

Basically Mohammed took a wife when she was only 8. In muslim culture a woman can be taken as soon as she reaches puberty. This, in some cases, can be as young as 8.

Further, the Ayatollah actually promted the taking of little girls.

Under sharia law, a man can "make love", in the sickest terms to ANY girl (even babies). However if he damages her vagina he has to "care" for her forever. However the law does not cover sodomy, so imagine the damge caused there!!!!

And think 80 percent of muslim youth between 15-24 years want sharia law in the UK!!!!!

I have not got a racist bone in my body. I have nothing against asians, just muslims.

But as I said, people will defend them to the hilt in the UK because "they know one" or "I have a muslim friend who is really cool" etc etc etc etc.

I may be wrong but i dont see how every muslim rapes their children, i think you're making too much of a generalisation, i understand what you are saying about it being 'allowed' in their religion, but i dont think it can be generalised to the whole muslim population

Hang on a minute, how long ago did Mohammed take his exceptionally young wife and how old was he at the time and did none of that stuff go on here in the middle ages either under the blessed Christianity? I hadn't thought of it like that supastar, that it's the followers not the religion that's the problem, i think if you follow bewlays link you will agree it's terryfying but as i said before i dont believe it's possible to generalise & i certainly wont be doing to any muslims i meet, i think those on the pictures on the link are the evidence of what happens when it is taken to the extreme

Getting back to the original question ...
Muslims say a prayer before slaughtering the animal. Praying and asking God mercy for taking the animals' life is what makes it Halal.

Thankyou for that figure, although on the clip that was posted they seemed to be taking some sick pleasure from what they were doing rather than praying for the animal, as i said before maybe this is just showing the extremes
