Since Naomi will not give me the ****ing key I have decided to follow Jesus and be a Christian just like Theland. I am ashamed of my past history here so I'm going to devote the time I used to spend on ab to reading the Bible. No question really because I no longer care about what people think. I'll get all my answers from God from now on thank you.

Theland, Ouch!! Sounds nasty. Are you ok?
Incidentally, I don't think you should continue to prod mibs for information. He's made it quite clear that he doesn't want to reveal details of his life on here, and if he isn't happy to tell you and me about his life, then we must respect that. We mustn't make him feel uncomfortable - that's bad manners - so do put a sock in it dear!

Luna, you're being too hard on yourself. Although in a different way to you, I too have always been an odd one out - I'm not a 'joiner-inner' either, although I am a leader, which I know you're not. I'm often at odds with popular opinion, and rarely see things as others see them. I too forget what people tell me - a result of not concentrating probably - and if I didn't have my diary to keep notes I'd be completely lost. I have a brain like a drain at times. I too go upstairs for something and by the time I get there, have forgotten what I wanted, so you aren't unique in that - I'm sure many people do the same. The difference is that you are highlighting it, and worrying about it to the point of obsession, rather than accepting it as just a daft quirk of you being you. If you knew how many times a day I tell myself I'm stupid, you wouldn't believe it, but I don't see it as a major problem. I just put it down to having my brains up my bottom at times!
I'm going to speak candidly, Luna (what else would you expect?). In my opinion, your world is all about you, and that can be damaging. We often become so wrapped up in ourselves, that we think of, and consider, nothing and no one else - unless it benefits us - and that's not good. I know you pretty well, and I do think you need friends, but to have friends that you can keep, you need to be a friend, and to genuinely and freely give a part of yourself, rather than just expecting to receive friendship. Good friendships benefit both parties. Of course, that's not to say you have to befriend people with whom you have nothing in common. It's a shame you've given up Tai Chi. What did you want to do that no one else was doing? Surely if you're taking part in a class, you do just that - take part in a class? You're clearly branching out - your trip to Tunisia springs to mind - and we've talked at length about you doing some sort of charity work, so why not give that a try? Offering help to others - and expecting nothing in return - can broaden our horizons and make us less self-obsessed - and that can only be for the good.
Here endeth your lesson for today. :ox

Luna, none of us have perfect lives - and few of us have what we really want from life, so perhaps you are looking too hard. I know I've said this before, but what is really wrong in your life? If you think about it you'll find it's nothing more than anyone else - and a lot less than many poor souls. We all have bad times, but we have to learn to deal with it and accept it. You have your health and strength, you have a nice home, a family, a job, a car, and you are a free agent. You can do whatever you want to do, so rather than dwell on what's wrong, perhaps it's better to count your blessings. Think positive my lad!!
By the way, most of us seek advice here occasionally - so you're not alone in that either. It's good to talk! :o)

Luna, I'm afraid you do have something very seriously wrong with you and I hate to be the one to break it to you but I think you'll find you're suffering a very infectious disease called....
being human
Alas, there's no known cure.
You've received some good advice on here and I think your GP should be told a synopsis of what you said on here as it's likely they'll be able to help.
Oh, and your symptons are also the same symptons of mild drepression, severe depression, OCD, Repetative Thoughts, lack of self esteem or self confidence and a messy brain. All of which many people live with every day and are often just symptons of a core issue which people don't want to face or don't know how to face so they circle around it and then end up with it coming out in other ways. This is not said to scare the pants off you, this is to stop you concentrating on aspergers which as I've said is a form of autism that is notouriously hard to diagnose precisely because the symptons mimick many more illnesses/issues than just the ones I've listed. And of course there are different degrees of it too. Focusing on this one label is very ill advised.
Just keep talking and go to the GPS, it's better to have the stuff out of your head than in it.
Hello Theland and ouchie... You keep that sort of injury up and you're on a one way referral to my department m'dear! This is why I think bikes are evil.

So China, you went ahead with the tattoo?
Will it still suit you when you are eighty five, and getting bed baths in the nursing home?
If I'm 85 and getting bed baths then I don't think a tattoo will be playing on my mind much... I'm not sure anything will.
And I won't be justifying gettiing my tattoo either, I utterly adore it and that's all that matters.

Theland, If China wanted a monkey on her back I imagine thats what she would have gotten.
And you wonder why I am reticent to divulge my personal life?
