Life before christianity

Ever since the birth of Christ there have been many wars, bigots who assume their religion is best, countless millions dying in the cause and lack of understanding on all sides.

If true that Christ came on Earth 2000 years ago would have it been better for civilisation that he had stayed away?

There's been wars in every religion, even the Buddhist monks have had a go, rightly, at the Chinese lately. The Koran states that when Jesus returns, he will declare himself to be a Muslim. The treatment of any non-Islamic religion, but especially Judaism, by the Muslims leaves a lot to be desired. I don't remember Jesus' teachings including how often you should beat your wife & children and what with, or talking about biting the heads off Jews (that one really made me laugh at the sheer appallingness). Maybe he'd enjoy reading about being encouraged to go out and rape non-Muslim with a view to making them pregnant with Muslim babies.... the list goes on. Please refer to www.memritv.org for more revelations. Look how old some of the clips are, ie: just how long all this dross has been going on. I don't think Jesus would agree with any of it. The Bible was written hundreds of years after Jesus' death by a load of homophobic misogynists - like the "bibles" of all religions, it is all hearsay. If people today declared themselves to be prophets and went around saying that they talked to God, they'd be put in a strait-jacket and dumped in a mental asylum.

I don't mind if someone puts Genghis Khan under Muslim flag as well to have another go on Islam. Afterall his surname was Khan and they are mostly or almost 100% Muslims now adays.

Sir Alec- If you were refering all that about Islam then I would love to see where in Quran is it all written?
