Islam encourages righteousness and opposes evil. It supports traditional family values and stands against promiscuity and immorality. We need something to fill the spiritual and moral void here, so I respect Islam. Do I have a point?

I have read the link again, and yes, you�re in luck. I do have a satisfactory answer. It�s all bunkum. People read into so-called prophesies what they want to read into them - and the evidence for that is borne out admirably by the fact that Muslims and Christians each claim the same prophesies for their own religion. It�s all wishful thinking.
Pity Allah/God wasn�t a little more thoughtful. If he�d have shoved a name or two into his books, all the confusion, conflict and guesswork could have so easily been avoided.
Coming from a Muslim, this is somewhat ironic though. Christian scholars are ingenious and indefatigable in their efforts to prove their case. If that wasn�t so blatantly hypocritical, it might be quite amusing.
