Just got in after a day on the motorways of Great Britain. Been up to pick up a motor for "She who must be obeyed". As if that was not bad enough I switch on the tv and find that Muniesa has been packed off on loan for the season although not showing on the site updates and that I have got injuries confirmed. Quick shuffle of the pack again. Watch your captain settings!! You now get the option to pick a captain for the weekend fixtures for all three days, so I have done so. I don't know whether it will be possible to change them on the day like last year until I have a look tomorrow. If you need to change captains you need to click on the name in the box against that match fixture and then a list of your team drops down to choose from.

I've had one last check before the free transfer window closes, someone may have tripped over a bootlace or something. Not quite as wanted but happy with them, as I'm sure many of you are with injuries pre-season and the money market still been open.

One thing - *please* no spoilers on MotD days - Friday games are a bit different, highlights won't be shown for a full day.

By all means, discussion is good but after we've all had a chance to watch highlights. Ta :-))

Highlights Lik? I have the Sky running commentary on all afternoon and the Sky goals app. Dedicated I am. :)) But.....don't do spoilers.
Then I watch all the games with the red button option over the weekend. Must be mad.

Good start for me but already have to make a transfer with Fabregas sent off and now suspended. I had him in both teams

Good.........Lol. Yes X ray. Impressive, but we have tomorrow yet. Just don't pick one of my midfielders. If previous years are anything to go by , red cards and injuries seem to home in. (!_*)

Just an update on the Captains set up. I forgot to add that besides setting them in advance you can indeed change them on kick off day as well.

Yesterday, they seemed a bit of a glitch when looking at players with Agüero 'light up' to show he was fielded but not captain... once he scored he was awarded the armband (C appeared in top corner) just thought I'd let you know.

As i said, because of my (almost) inebriated condition t'other night, i et the site pick my team. Just read the confirmation email to copy the selections down and pleasantly surprised to find that i have 2 Clarets in my team. What's more, they just happen to be Stephen Ward (scored 1 yesterday) and big Sam Vokes (scored 2 yesterday). Haven't a scooby-doo who some of my other players are and will now spend some time 'googling' to find out how good/bad/indifferent they are.

Ta for that, Ark. I'll do that. The only 2 players i've heard of (apart from the 2 Super Clarets, of course) are current Southampton defender Van Dijk and the Cherries' 'keeper Boruc.
