His passing is sad, though a good age a great footballer and a great family friend to me in my early years, sadly missed.

I was lucky enough to see the great man play and he was a great centre forward for Bolton ! You will miss him mamyalynne and so will Football !

I would never defend an act of that nature, even by someone I cared about.

Truth to say, I doubt he would appear in a top 10 list of 'dirty' players of that era. Saint he was not.
