in another demonstration of 6 Nations rugby might, Italy lost to Japan.

However, England's cricketers should take this series against Sri lanka.

Around Thu 13th June, someone pointed out that England had teams playing in three internationals during the next three or four upcoming days; a cricket test against Sri Lanka, a rugby test against the All Blacks and a major football match against Italy in the World Cup. If I remember correctly, he wondered how many of these England might win. The answer was...none...the results in the same oder being a draw, a loss and a loss. It hasn't got much better since!

.should the standings of the football world wide not be based on this World Cup .Winners 1 runners up 2 so on to England between 17th to 32 and the seedlings should be based in this .say a pre competition to whittle down the World Cup to just sixteen played on a knock out basic.
