I feel sorry for people like Watson (similar to the English Ladies Football Team) - one success and the whole Brit media start talking in terms of winning the Final etc etc etc. Must put a lot of pressure on youngsters.

This is certainly a toughie for her, but good experience nevertheless.

Everyone should be given the day off work.

The whole nation should be cheering every game ... no, every point! ... that she takes off Serena.

We need Serena to be a bit off her game and for Watson to be at her very best and feistiest. Good on her for saying she's looking forward to it. I'll be cheering every shot.

She's done all right so far, has our Heather. I'm not expecting great things today, but you never know I suppose!

Here's hoping that she at least gives a good account of herself today, and that her results here help her to push on at other tournaments. She had a great start to the year, and then has been rather flat since winning that title in Hobart. A strong performance this week might turn her form around.

Was also nice to see Laura Robson back, albeit nowhere near her best yet. Hoping it's the start of a return to form, though.

I'm watching, just hope she can hold her own for a while and it's not a straight set wipeout for her, an amazing opportunity, playing the world number on Centre Court at Wimbledon with the world watching.

I'm at home on the sofa :) Been watching Wimbledon all afternoon since I got home. Hoping for a bit more exciting a game than the others I've seen though don't think anything could top Brown beating Nadal yesterday! That was something special!
