at the Rio games, breaking his own world record that he set only days ago. He won almost a length and a half ahead of the rest, a phenomenal swim over 100 metres.

Very well done young man!

Damn - what channel, Bunkmoreland? (Forgot the "about 3am).
Jazz Carlin adds Silver to the tally - brilliant PB swim :-))
Amazing. Absolutely brilliant to break his own world record yet again. Well done to Jazz Carlin too. A great silver, second to the peerless Katie Ledecky.
Well done!!!
just bbc normal for the olympics!
Got it, Bunkmoreland. Rewound BBC1 and saw the race.
Gold medal, WR AND a hug from Sharon!
Well done young man! :o}
Well swum. Is 'swum' a proper word? It doesn't look right.
The first of many medals, hopefully.
Wonderful performance...he made it look so easy ! He said on the radio that he touched the wall, looked around and thought....where is everybody !

Does anyone know if he is competing in any other races in Rio ?
We say dived but our American friends say dove !
A good start for team GB.
I have SWAM in the sea, but I have never swammed !
I'll not bother with the Olympic reply now.
Well done to Adam Peaty a worthy reward for all those 4.30 a.m. alarm calls.
Most impressive.
Really I haven't heard this mentioned on the news today well only about 20 times :-)
Well done anyway
